Accomodation:
Typical Portuguese country house in quiet surroundings, only 2km (20min walk) from Praia de Areia Branca's perfect beach break, offering ideal conditions for beginners. A hearty breakfast is offered as well as occasional barbecues, campfires, beach parties and plenty of opportunities to get in touch with the locals. Praia itself was spared from mass tourism and is a summer retreat for the Portuguese themselves.

How to reach us:
Fly to Lisbon, transfer to the express bus terminal and then take an express bus to Praia de Areia Branca (65km). Just pass us the arrival time and we will be pleased to pick you up. For a fee an airport shuttle is also offered.

Surf lesson details:
Our Portuguese surf instructors speak English fluently and are eager to show you the ropes. The surfing course package includes 20 hours per week with 2 sessions each day and a breaktime snack on the beach. During the week-end all surfing equipment is available at your free disposal. For the most part there is a professional photographer around, ready to capture your first and latest moves for a reasonable price. No hassle bringing your expensive photo equipment to the beach!

Equipment:
Well-kept NSP surfboards coming in all sizes as well as wetsuits are included in the package. Fiberglass-boards are available for advanced riders.

Spot Shuttle:
Every morning our guests are picked up and taken to Praia de Areia Branca's beautiful beach (which of course offers the best waves around) or another spot, depending on weather conditions.

Dates:
April till November. Arrival and departure every Sunday. Surf class starts every Monday.

Participants:
Max. 6 participants per instructor, max. 12 participants per surf course. Average age: 25 years

Other activities:
Qigong on the beach, Shiatsu-Massage, Yoga, bike tours – skateboarding – trips to nearby places of interest (Peniche, Óbidos, Lisbon, etc...) – visit to a surfboard-shaper's atelier – boat trip to Berlengas – dinner in affordable insiders' restaurants – romantic campfires, someone always has a guitar at hand – spontaneous barbecue parties – meet the locals and hang out at popular bars and dance clubs.
